An RSS feed (or news feed) is a means by which you can stay informed about what's going on at Oak City Sound without having to regularly visit the website.
To make use of an RSS feed, you need some "feed reader" (or "aggregator") software. Most modern web browsers have feed readers built in.
The RSS feeds for Oak City Sound are listed below...
June 3: Could it be, did it happen? Did I forget to send The Acorn? Humpty-Dumpty on the wall hopes I don't forget them all!
June 10: Good practice sessions. The Mixed Chorus session ran a ittle long, but I think the extra time was beneficial, and maybe 7:40 should be our regular cut-over time? Thanks to Mike Muha for leading the sessions.
Afterglow on the Back Patio at Mac's was very good! With the warmer weather, we are able to kibbitz outside, away from the noisy juke box and televisions
June 17: Regular Monday meeting: 6:30 for Mixed Chorus, 7:30 for Men's chorus, at our now regular location at the Glenaire Auditorium.
Board meeting at 5:30pm.
At business break, we can talk about "Christmas Quartets". What is a Christmas/Holiday quartet?, you ask? It's the idea that you can increase your fun and improve your skills by forming/joining a quartet (or other sized group) solely for stepping down from risers and singing one Christmas song at any of our holiday shows, but without taking on a quartet commitment, or competing, or buying matching socks. Just get some like-minded persons, pick only a single song (Music Team can help), and learn it well enough to perform. Oak City Sound's music team will provide appropriate assistance in coaching and song selection, Why not give it a try? We're talking only one song! I can tell you personally the fun that I experienced on Monday evenings improved greatly the first time I ventured forth (in 1986?) to sing with a one-time, one-song quartet.
