1. High Notes

  • May 27: Chorus picnic last Monday was a smashing success. Thanks to all who came and brought food.
    • Special kudos to Carol Stephenson and Gary Thorn for setting up and running the program.
    • Special thanks to John Quick for bringing the cooker!
  • June 3: Regular Monday meeting: 6:30 for Mixed Chorus, 7:30 for Men's chorus, at our new permanent location at the Glenaire Auditorium.

3. Long Range

  • Aug 24, 11am (or so): Oak City Sound in concert at Cary Lazy Daze town festival in downtown Cary. (not locked in yet).
  • Sept 29, Sunday 3:00pm: Oak City Sound in concert at Preston Pointe in Morrisville.
  • Dec 9 (Monday), 7pm: Oak City Sound in concert at Waltonwood on Lake Boone Trail in Raleigh

4. Champagne Room
  • Congratulations to Warren Fuson for builing a good working relationship with the Green Hope High School choral director. It looks like we will be able to assist them in their program, as well as a few of the kids being able to join us from time to time.
