Oct 22: Oak City Sound delivered a good concert at Preston Pointe last Sunday afternoon. It was well attended. Furthermore, we are in discussions with them on possible future performances.
Oct 23: Our second Oak City Sound Holiday Singers meeting. The following singers came back for their second week: Susan Anderson, Anna Bernstein, Shirley Colson, Liz Kasberg, Eileen Mayhew, Cheryl McQueen, Pat Scibienski, and Mike St. Clair. The following persons came for their first time: Andy Fuson, Sue Twyman, Eva Snapp, and Jin Hee Shin. We are so glad you all decided to share your evening with us!

Oct 28 (Saturday): NC State Football Game concession. Call time is 11:30.
Oct 30: Special rehearsal for OCS Holiday Chorus, followed by OCS regular practice. The usual meeting place (Searstone)
- 7pm to 7:45: Oak City Sound Holiday Chorus
- 7:50 to 9:30: Song set for 2nd half of rehearsal on October 30:
  - Please Come Home for Christmas
  - Christmas Through Your Eyes
  - We Need a Little Christmas
  - March of the Wooden Soldiers - bring your kazoos!
  - Jingle Bell Rock

Keep up the great work with inviting people to sing with us for the Holiday Chorus! We can still add new folks this coming Monday if you have some other folks who have expressed interest. Those additional voices make us sound even better, and we are sounding pretty good by ourselves!
I think Ova the Wainbow was the best we've eva sung it at Pweston Pointe! We're going to weally be making music at the contest in Pinehurst next April!
