    • Start off the convention weekend by attending the kick-off luncheon on Friday April 4 at 12:30 at Dugan’s Pub, 2 Market Square, Pinehurst, NC 28374. Last year, we had about 25 people at attendance from all around the district. Maybe a song or a tag might break out! If you plan to come, please give Nic Cols a heads up.
    • If you’re attending Convention, remember to polish up your Polecats, especially “Wait Till the Sun Shines, Nellie” (conducted by our very own Carol) for the post-Contest chorus sing.
  • Chapter 50TH Anniversary / Committee:
    • Have an idea? Want to join the committee? Let us know!
  • Donate to our monthly raffles!! Next up is Starbucks gift cards…
  • Any Concert Suggestions? – The more organizational funding we get from group concerts, the less formal fundraising we have to do. Contact our Marketing VP Bob Inskeep with any ideas.

3. Carol's Cadence
Thanks for following me at Monday night’s concert – whether it was a mistake or asking for something a little different artistically. Keep in mind:
  • Show your excitement! Have your face tell everyone you’re having a good time.
  • Remember not to punch the notes and sing smooth. (Especially for “You’ve Got a Friend”)
  • Not “tew,” not “tuh” – it’s “toooo”
