3. Carol's Cadence
  • You were all sounding great on Monday night as I joined in via FaceTime (thank you, Sharon!) Remember to work on balanced onsets, avoiding pouncing on the first note of a phrase and instead shaping the phrase to create momentum toward the important nouns and verbs in the phrase.
  • I hope to be back with you on the 27th and be there for the dinner on the 31st. Thank you all for your love and support and for being nice to Mike while he keeps the show running.

6. Major & Minor Moods
Please send our friends your prayers & best wishes!
  • David Kraay’s father passed away last week, and David has been in Florida with his family.
  • Carol’s mother has improved but remains in hospice care, so Carol continues to stay in Nebraska with her family. She currently plans to return to N.C. later this week.
  • Cross O’Donovan passed away in his sleep Saturday evening. Earlier this week, Cross had informed Bob that he was moving to hospice, and said that while he wasn’t able to sing with us more, he had really enjoyed this year.
    • While he was only with our chorus a short time, Cross was always a bright source of barbershop lore and advice. Further details on his service will be shared when known.
